Welcome to the 2008-09 school year at Beaufort Academy. My name is Mrs. Torrye Parker and I teach Eighth Grade World Geography and Seventh Grade United States History. I am very excited to work with the students and parents this year, and I have high expectations for an exciting and productive year of learning. I expect a lot from my students and know that they are capable of meeting and exceeding my expectations. Each student is expected to work very hard as the class learns about about geography and U.S. history and improves their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
